CAPITAL IDEA
AWARDED: $25,000
The mission of Capital IDEA is to lift working adults out of poverty and into living-wage careers through education. The $25,000 will be used for the Career Paths for Georgetown program. It will help support 21 low-income adult students who live in the Georgetown area for one year in Capital IDEA’s program. Specifically, it will fun their tuition, fees, books, childcare, and other basic needs expenses, as well as Capital IDEA’s signature career navigation services.
