Granted $25,000 Funding covers food for 1,100 to 1,200 food-insecure students for 9 of the 40 weekends in the school year. Georgetown Backpack Buddies provides weekend food packs to food-insecure children in the Georgetown Independent School District, currently serving all 17 GISD schools and grades K-12.
