OUR MISSION

Seeds of Strength’s Giving Circle seeks to enrich the lives of members of our community through grants to nonprofit organizations serving the greater Georgetown area. Our giving addresses diverse needs of the area rather than one particular cause.

OUR GRANTS

Areas of interest for grants may include art and culture; community development; children, youth and families; education; the environment; and health and human services. In our first seven years, 58 grants have been given with a total of $813,000. In 2016, we awarded 7 grants totaling $154,000.

MEMBERSHIP

Support our community through your membership. Our members are women with various backgrounds ranging in age from 20-something to 90-something. While there is no required time commitment from any member, there are many ways to be involved if a member chooses.
