Girl Connect is an expansion of an existing program. The program consists of weekly self-efficacy building supportive groups for identified at-risk girls in grades 3-12. The girls meet for 10-20 weeks with a group counselor on their Georgetown school campuses. The sessions are designed to help the girls resiliently navigate the pressures they face. The $20,000 grant will support staff salaries, mileage reimbursement, and program supplies.
