KING’s Mentoring through Music program provides Central Texas youth in foster care free, weekly, private music instruction from volunteer Music Mentors. Through consistent and nurturing mentoring and instruction, youth in foster care are able to build concrete strategies for lifelong success. The $20,000 grant will provide a portion of the Program Coordinator salary, student rewards, and lesson materials.
