The NEST (Nurturing*Empowering*Supporting for *Tomorrow) Empowerment Center meets basic needs and supportive services in a safe, positive environment for youth qualified as at‐risk, homeless, or living in transition. Its Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) component provides critical employment opportunities with local work sites for 20 youth. Funding covers 4 SYEP interns in June‐July 2022; provides salary support for the NEST center coordinator; funding support to the NEST’s Level Up Lab where new and refurbished equipment creates an inviting college/career readiness lab.
