Founded in 2015, A Gift of Time addresses needs related to dementia — “a dual diagnosis affecting both the person and the person and or persons who love them.” In 2022, A Gift of Time’s initiatives began growing from a single day of respite care to a structured week of care including a Memory Café, early stage memory groups and caregiver education. This grant will help support staffing, program materials and operational costs needed to sustain free 5 days a week respite and caregiver services for approximately 110 Georgetown families with almost 6000 hours of programming across all services.
