2026 Grant Recipient: $25,000

Capital IDEA, founded in 1998, helps low-income adults complete college and secure living-wage jobs in high demand fields, breaking the cycle of poverty while strengthening the local workforce. Capital IDEA accomplishes this by providing full tuition support, case management, and wraparound services for targeted career training and assistance securing living-wage jobs in high-demand fields with benefits and advancement opportunities. This grant will help cover tuition costs for Capital IDEA’s Georgetown students supporting approximately 124 credit hours — the equivalent of 41 college courses.
