Seeds of Strength’s funds will go towards staff salaries for Faith in Action’s transportation program, staff development/training and a portion of FIAG’s program insurance. FIAG’s transportation program addresses the growing demand of older adults needing transportation (29.3% of Georgetown residents are aged 65+). Older adults without transportation options may go to fewer appointments, become isolated, or go without food.
