Girls Empowerment Network was founded in 1996. Its mission is to ignite the power in girls by teaching them the skills to thrive and believe in their ability to be unstoppable. Through weekly Girl Connect sessions on their school campus, girls experience self-efficacy building curriculum that equips them with the skills needed to thrive and believe in their ability to be unstoppable, are provided peer support, and positive, relatable role models.
