Girlstart will use the $10,000 grant to support 150+ high-need girls in 6 Georgetown schools enrolled in the Girlstart After School program. Girlstart After School is a free, weekly STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) program designed to increase girls’ interest and engagement in STEM through innovative, nationally-recognized informal STEM education programs.
