Our Seeds of Strength Holiday Party on December 3 brought together more than 100 incredible women and friends – all of us gathering with purpose, connection and joy!
A special thank you is extended to Don Hewlett Chevrolet Buick for hosting us in such a festive space, and to Alfred’s Catering for the delicious spread.
One of the evening’s highlights was awarding this year’s Founders Grant to The Williamson Museum. Their work preserving and sharing the stories of our community is extraordinary, and we are delighted to support the expansion of their educational Trunk Program impacting thousands of Central Texas students. With the funding, the Museum’s education team will add four new trunk topics: Native Americans of Williamson County, Women’s History, Black History, and a new Bat Trunk. Funds will also help the nonprofit make essential improvements to existing materials and program delivery.
“We are very excited to be the 2025 Founders Grant recipient,” said Danelle Houck, Executive Director for The Williamson Museum. “This grant allows us to broaden the stories we tell and deepen the learning opportunities we offer. With four new trunks and much-needed enhancements to our program materials, we will continue serving thousands of students with hands-on history that brings Williamson County to life.”
