LITERACY COUNCIL OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY
AWARDED $9,000
The Literacy Council of Williamson County provides the resources and programs necessary for individuals to achieve literacy and helps people discover better lives through literacy. The $9,000 will support “Project GED Forward” by funding instructional materials, both software and print, to help students prepare for the new GED exam, which has been revised to align with the Common Core Standards. The grant will also help provide additional staff training.
