The Literacy Council of Williamson County will use the $23,000 grant to help adults become financially self-sufficient by increasing their literacy skills, and/or helping them earn a GED or a vocational certificate. Services will be provided to 190 Georgetown residents with 40 of those residents receiving certificates in HVAC, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Office Administration.
