2015 RECIPIENT:
THE GEORGETOWN PROJECT
AWARDED $25,000
The Georgetown Project identifies needs and develops resources, relationships and services so that our youth become caring, capable and resilient individuals. The NEST (Nurturing * Empowering * Supporting for * Tomorrow) helps address adolescent homelessness in the Georgetown community. The $25,000 will be used to expand the “Summer Youth Employment Program” in 2015 by providing first-time summer employment internships for ten at-risk Georgetown ISD high school students.
