newspaper articleSeeds of Strength is delighted to have been featured in The Williamson County Sun on September 27, 2026!  Reporter Abbey Archer caught up with two of this year’s grantees, The Boys & Girls Club of Georgetown and A Gift of Time.  (Sun subscribers:  access the archives at The Sun to read the full article.)

Kelly St. Julien, Branch Director of The Boys & Girls Club, reflects on his childhood experience with the club and describes its services, including “Breathe” which helps children cope with frustration (a program supported by this year’s SoS grant).

From A Gift of Time, serving individuals and families facing memory loss, Executive Director Becky Folta-May shares information about respite care services and how A Gift of Time has been able to grow with community support, including the support of Seeds of Strength.

Past President Lexi Elliott, also interviewed by The Sun, reminds us, “… you look at the beautiful town square and see all the polished parts of Georgetown. You don’t always see all these needs, ones that non-profits have come in to bridge that gap. Being involved raises that awareness.”
