As members of Seeds of Strength, we are united by a shared purpose: to make a meaningful difference in the Georgetown community. Philanthropy isn’t just about giving large sums — it’s about the intent behind every gift, no matter the size. Each of us chooses to invest in organizations that address real needs and create lasting impact for our neighbors.
October marks the kickoff of our Season of Giving. At our Fall Luncheon, we will celebrate the generosity that has allowed us to give over $2.3M dollars in grant awards. I offer you a challenge to provide $150k dollars in funds for awards in 2026. This challenge also means we have a unique opportunity for May 2026 — to celebrate crossing the $2.5M dollar mark in funds given since 2010. What a celebration we can have! This amazing milestone will be a testament to the collective power of women who care deeply about serving others.
Now, I invite you to renew your commitment for another year of purposeful giving. Renew your membership today and be an early advocate for our 2026 grants. If you’re not ready to make a financial commitment, our new Pledge Card lets you express your intent and timing for renewing or joining before March 1, 2026.
Seeds of Strength thrives when we share our passion with others. Tell your family, friends, and colleagues why you are a member, and encourage them to join us. Personal invitations are the most powerful. Every new member brings us closer to our goals and strengthens our circle of impact.
Together, we sow seeds of hope and opportunity in Georgetown. Let’s continue to give graciously — from the heart — and inspire change in our community.
